Cameron Schuler - CEO
Cameron Schuler is the President, CEO & Co-founder of VibeDx. He was formerly an Executive-in-Residence
with TEC Edmonton, specializing in medical devices, healthcare and industrial technologies. Cameron's multi
faceted career has covered finance, business & product development, consumer products, IT and
general management from start-ups to mature companies. His industry experience includes Alternative Energy,
Banking, Consumer Goods, Information Technology (Consumer and Enterprise), Investment Sales and Trading, Life
Sciences, Manufacturing, Medical Devices, Nutraceuticals, Oil & Gas, and Oil & Gas Services.
Cameron's roles have included COO, CFO, President and CEO and was COO & CFO of a food manufacturer
whose products lead to sales of over 200 million units. Cameron was the Managing Director &
Co-Founder of Schuler Law Group, a boutique tax planning law firm. He attained an MBA from Queen's University
and is a Certified Investment Manager and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
Greg Kawchuk - CSO
Dr. Greg Kawchuk is the inventor of VibeDxTM as well as the Chief Scientific Officer & Co-founder of VibeDx. He held the Canadian
Research Chair in Spinal Function, is a Professor in the Faculty of
Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta and is an Adjunct
Professor at the University of Alberta (Department of Biomedical Engineering),
the University of Calgary (Department of Cellular Biology and Anatomy) and the
Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Kawchuk's research interests
revolve around defining the mechanisms that initiate and sustain spinal
disorders. To achieve this goal, a major component of his research
involves the development of novel technologies to evaluate spinal structure and
performance.
Anthony Au - Lead Engineer
Dr. Anthony Au is a biomechanical engineer with expertise in experimental and computational
modeling of bones and joints. He has extensive research experience in joint mechanics and
joint prosthesis design of the spine, hip and knee. He obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering
from the University of Alberta and was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Dr. Au has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Post-doctoral Fellowship and
Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
